The Wisdom of Simplicity How did Victor & Jane begin? It started with a search for "good." I wanted skincare that was whole, meaning it had to be free from the fillers, synthetic perfumes, and water-bases that dominate the shelves. I was looking for something that didn't yet exist: a line that was honest, affordable, and effective for the sensitive skin and eczema within my own family.
My journey was guided by a lifetime of travel. I was fortunate to grow up immersed in extraordinary cultures, learning from indigenous communities how to use whole, raw ingredients to nourish both the body and the soul.
I coupled that ancestral wisdom with years of modern research and trial and error. What began as a personal mission to heal my children eventually grew into gifts for friends, then a flurry of requests for refills. With the tremendous encouragement of a community that believed in these formulas as much as I did, Victor & Jane was officially born.
